For my second ILP project I created a Prezi. The Prezi was on a kindergarten standard, standard SS.K.E.1.1 which was about different jobs people do and the tools and equipment they need to do their job. I have never created a presentation using Prezi before, so this site was totally new to me! I did a very simple presentation because it is directed for the viewing by Kindergarteners. I really enjoyed using Prezi, it was quick, easy and it really made a nice presentation. I will definitely be using Prezi again in the future.

Lindsey, I just viewed your Prezi. I love how organized it is. Maybe you could make all 4 topics (job description) start with a question like you did for the firefighter. Overall, I really liked your Prezi and I think that it effective in that the words you chose are perfect for kindergarteners. How did you find out about Prezi.

ReplyDeleteThanks. Making Prezi's was super easy, the only difficult part was making it effective but allowing it to be at Kindergarten level. I heard about Prezi through watching people use Prezi for presentations throughout my own personal school years. I have just never personally used it until now, but I LOVE it!
DeleteI really like the way that your prezi is organized and the fact that it is simple and to the point. I would like to point out that for kindergarteners it might be helpful to keep the organization of each circle the same and clarify that the bullet points under each profession are tools and equipment that they use. I would also suggest that it might be nice to add some visuals as well. Overall very well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Parker! I agree I probably should of found a video or something. This was my first time using Prezi so I didn't really know all the tricks. Such as putting more pictures and videos in it. Next time I will definitely do this!
DeleteI love using Prezi even though it can give a hard time every once in awhile. Your prezi is very organized and to the point, and I like that. But, when working with Kindergartens it will always be easier to get their attention when you get some color and visuals to keep them in focus so try and add a little bit of pop for next time. But, good job!
