I have used Microsoft word multiple times as a student. Mostly when I am writing a paper and am required to write in MLA or APA format. I have also used Microsoft Word multiple times when I am taking notes on my computer in class. I always use the "Word Notebook Layout" to take all my notes in for class! It's really helpful because of how the layout is, it makes it really easy to find all of my notes. I have also seen my teachers use it quite often while in the classroom. They use it to present our notes, when they give us instructions on assignments, and also for our syllabus. Usually when a teacher needs to relay typed information to students, it is through a Microsoft Word document.
I haven't really had that many experiences with copyright and fair use materials. The only time I've ever really had to worry about it is when I am writing a paper and need to cite certain things. However, I know that when I become a teacher those things will become way more relevant and I will need to know all the rules about it. I know I will need to use it when it comes to giving print out's and worksheets to the class for the assignments and classroom activities.
I had always used Twitter for my own personal thoughts and basically for fun. I had never really realized the personal learning networks that it had. Seriously it's amazing!!! The educators accounts you can follow and learn from are basically endless. Twitter is much more than a "social media" output it is something you can learn and grow from as a teacher. Twitter will help me in my future career because I can learn from other teachers and it can help me in my own classroom. I now view Twitter as a totally different form of community and a learning opportunity.

I have used Microsoft Word for the same things! I love using the "Word Notebook Layout" to take notes as well. It keeps everything so organized.
